  • 高山流水( ɡāo shān liú shuǐ)

这个成语出自《列子·汤问》,比喻一首曲子高雅动听,现在也指知音难觅。这个故事的主人公是伯牙和子期,伯牙是当时著名的琴师,有一次出去遇到一名樵夫,一起休息的时候伯牙就拿出琴开始演奏,没想到每次演奏的曲子都能被子期听出乐曲所歌颂的事物,尤其是两首从未有他人听懂的歌颂高山和河流的曲子。从此之后他们就成了好朋友,但是好景不长,后来子期去世了,伯牙背痛欲绝,认为再也不可能找到像子期这样的知音了,于是伯牙将琴毁掉,再也没有弹过琴了。

这个成语出自《史记·管晏列传》,比喻情谊深厚,相知相悉。主人公是管仲和鲍叔牙,他们相识很早,后来一起做生意,因为鲍叔牙家庭条件比较贫困,管仲总是会让利给鲍叔牙,手下的人看不过去,问管仲为什么要这样,管仲回答说因为自己本来就是打算帮助鲍叔牙的,所以不计较这些,并且管仲也不允许手下的人继续做这种挑拨离间的事情。

The protagonists are Guan Zhong and  Bao Shu Ya, they met very early, and later did business together, because Bao S hu Ya's family conditions are relatively poor, Guan Zhong will always give benefits to Bao Shu Ya, his subordinates can't look past it, ask Guan Zhong why he is like this, Guan Zhong replied that because he originally planned to help Bao Shu Ya, he didn't care about this, and Guan Zhong did not allow his subordinates to continue to do this kind of discord-sowing thing.

 

  • 闻鸡起舞( wén jī qǐ wǔ)

这个成语原本指听到鸡叫声就起来舞剑,现在也比喻奋发向上、坚持不懈的精神。主人公是祖逖和刘琨,他们两人是好朋友,都渴望建功立业,有远大的理想。有一次祖逖在睡梦中听到鸡叫声,于是将刘琨叫醒一起去舞剑,最后通过这样日复一日的练习,都成为了文武双全的人,并且都做了高官。
